The Virgin Mary made her annual trip to Conyers, Georgia, last week to give her message to ordinary little Nancy Fowler, and thousands flocked to receive the word. Are you a believer?

I believe people can be energetic enough to do superhuman things. But that comes more from within than without.

I've had rapturous feelings. Like when I accomplish some of my goals. Also, when I feel free. While driving cross-country I felt rapture.

Yes. But I don't believe in religion.

Yeah. It's just a matter of having faith. That woman down in Georgia may have had a lot of faith, but it doesn't mean Mary really came down to talk to her.

Couple months ago I was in a car accident. For a minute I experienced something like... the only word I can use to describe it is... nothing. Like I was nowhere. But it was okay.

My sister was murdered 15 years ago. Sometime after she died I was seeing this man. One day, she appeared in my kitchen sitting in the chair she always used to sit in and told me to stay away from this man. I did. And good thing. The next woman he went out with got beat real bad.

Yes. Look at all this around us. Man couldn't create it.

No. I'm a skeptic. You have to prove things to me. You know the magician Amazing Randi? Well, he offered a million dollars to anyone who could explain UFOs, ESP, visions, et cetera. No one has taken him up on it. He's the guy who disproved Uri Geller, the spoon bender. So, in a way, I'm like him.

No.
Do you believe in God?
Yes. But it's an individual definition of God. It's not like in the major religions.
Ever have any doubts?
The Holocaust that happened to the Jews. If there is a God, I still can't understand the reason for that.

A higher being will take all paths, no matter how small, to reach us. The smallest, most innocent experience like a bird landing on your shoulder could mean something.
Have you had any religious experiences?
I hate to fly. One time when I had to fly I saw some nuns in the airport, and even though I'm not Christian, when I saw them I felt my higher being with me. And the flight was okay.

Most certainly. Someone said, I forget who, we're not human beings having spiritual experiences, we're spiritual beings having human ones.

Do you believe in miracles?
No. I'm an atheist. You know, it's like if the Christians say God says you have to believe in Jesus or you're not going to heaven, that means the Jews can't go to heaven, the Chinese, the Buddhists. It doesn't sound like a nice place to go.

I had one about infinity. I was all fevered up one time and I hallucinated that I had to build enough wardrobes to fill up Texas. But that's insanity, not religion.
