Queens for a Day Sweats and sneakers. Logo'd jackets. Bateau Ts. Cropped pants. Puffy parkas. Tank tops. Backward caps. Polar fleece. Jungle prints. Hair that's been bleached. Or braided. Or left to swing free in artfully calculated cascades. When school's out in Elmhurst and Jackson Heights, the yards and playgrounds and main streets and subway stations are a symphony of late-'90s teenage style, a mélange of Hilfiger-esque fantasies.
