Wayne Barrett replies: No one blamed Goodman alone for 11 years of delay on the bias crimes bill. I pointed out the anomaly of his voting with the GOP conference to keep his own bill off the floor. I quoted Levi's group, which condemned Goodman in 1999 for failing repeatedly to get a vote on the bill. Levi, whose letter is obviously a political favor, appears ready to wait another decade for Goodman's homophobic house to pass the gay civil rights bill.
