It's a Subway Series. Which Train Are You Taking?

Which team are you rooting for? The Mets.

Why? I think they're going to win because they're all serious and talented, and the team has no big heads. Piazza is my favorite player.

Who would you rather have pitching for you in Game 7, Al Gore or George W. Bush? Neither one of them. I'd take the loss, even if it meant losing in the World Series. Those two don't give us much to choose from.

Which team are you rooting for? The Yankees.

Why? I've never known anything different. Everyone I know, all the members of my family, are Yankees fans. My girlfriend, too. I didn't choose her on that basis, but I think maybe I'd have to break up with her if she weren't a Yankees fan. I identify with Derek Jeter. He's young and he's doing what he loves. He's also dating Miss Universe. Mike Piazza is dating twin Playboy Playmates, although I don't know if he's dating them at the same time.

Who would you rather have pitching for you in Game 7, Al Gore or George W. Bush? George Bush. He looks a little more athletic, and he's got ice in his veins.

Which team are you rooting for? The Yankees, but it's a confusing situation.

Why? My father and my boyfriend are Mets fans, and my son is a Yankees fan, so I've got to support him. At the same time, I remember when the Mets won 14 years ago and the whole building was just pounding. That moment was so exciting. There's lots of debate going on in my house. I'm waiting for the neutral series T-shirt that has a subway car and the names of both teams written on it.

Who would you rather have pitching for you in Game 7, Al Gore or George W. Bush? Gore. He'd play better. In real life, Bush isn't proactive on issues I really care about, like abortion rights.

Which team are you rooting for? The Mets.

Why? They deserve it, and the Yankees are always going to be the team to beat. It's also a money thing. If you look at the numbers, 88 to 90 percent of Queens residents work. Queens represents the working class.

Who would you rather have pitching for you in Game 7, Al Gore or George W. Bush? I'm a Democrat. Gore has finally started running his mouth, something he should have been doing from the jump. I also can't stand Bush because he'd never cop to sniffing coke.

Which team are you rooting for? The Yankees.

Why? I grew up 20 minutes from the stadium. My whole family follows them. A lot of people hate them because they have such a big payroll, but that kind of money is all over baseball now. That's just the way it is. I can't take anything away from the Mets—they're a great team, but we're going to beat them.

Who would you rather have pitching for you in Game 7, Al Gore or George W. Bush? Al Gore. He's a little younger, so he may have more strength in his arm. I also think he's a Yankees fan.

Which team are you rooting for? The Yankees.

Why? It's not just because I live in the Bronx. It's because they're the best team in the league right now, and because when I was a kid, we used to play ball and call ourselves the Yankees. Manny Rivera is the best player on the team. I have his autograph and a message he wrote: "Best wishes to Omah."

Who would you rather have pitching for you in Game 7, Al Gore or George W. Bush? Bush. He's the more serious of the two.

Which team are you rooting for? The Mets.

Why? Through my grandfather, my cousin, my uncle, and I all became Mets fans. My grandfather died just before the Mets won the '86 World Series. I was just heartbroken because we had always watched the games together.

Who would you rather have pitching for you in Game 7, Al Gore or George W. Bush? Al Gore. He was in the service and he'd be a more tough-minded player.
