What do you think about the Times' decision to include gay weddings?Anything in any publication that puts a positive slant on anyone considered unusual or "un-correct" is good. I do think it's goofy that it's being included in that goofy Styles section. And I think the taint of marketing is on everything. That's cynical, but you can be cynical and kind at the same time.
What's your opinion about same-sex marriage?I think it's fine.
Have you ever been to a commitment ceremony? No, I haven't, but bless anyone who wants to do it. If they get something out if it, great. Marriage in general has an aspect of conventionality that I dont understand, but many people feel comforted by it.

What do you think about the Times' decision to include gay weddings?I think it's OK, because people have become much more open about their sexuality. Society thinks that whatever your sexual preference, it's not a problem. It's the way you were made. I lived in the Midwest and it was very homophobic. It helps to live in New York City.
What's your opinion about same-sex marriage?I have mixed feelings. There are certain things I don't agree with, but that's just my opinion.
Have you ever been to a commitment ceremony? No.
