At the Salute to Israel Day Parade, Women in Black will be standing as a group on Fifth Avenue and East 67th Street, on the Northeast corner, at 10:30 a.m. to support the Israeli peace movement and voice our dissent regarding Israel's illegal occupation and settlements that perpetute the conflict. We will have signs.
June 4
Russell Simmons, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, and the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network together with Andrew Cuomo and the Mothers of the NY Disappeared for a massive rally to repeal the Rockefeller Drug Laws. June 4 at City Hall/Foley Square at 2 p.m.
June 5
Women of New York: join us for a special vigil/event in solidarity with Israeli activists to demand an end to 36 years of Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem. Meet in Union Square, Broadway and 14th Street, at 5:30 p.m.
