Who's Who

Louisa and John Polk Campbell had 10 children:

Talitha, Mary, John, Leonidas, Sarah Rush, James, Thomas, Samuel, Constantine, and William. Four of them, John, Leonidas, Thomas, and Samuel, fought in the Civil War.

Most of them had lots of children, but in this story I have mentioned only two of the grandchildren: Louisa "Lulu" McKenny, whose mother, Talitha, died young, leaving her to be raised by her grandmother, and Lucy Owen McCammon, daughter of Sarah Rush Campbell Owen.

Will Campbell had one child by Chloe Curry, Georgia Campbell Neal, who had one child: Billie Louise Davis, my mother. —Thulani Davis
