September 11 Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, a group of family members of 9/11 victims, is holding an event to commemorate 9/11 on the evening of September 10. At 6:45 p.m., gather at Union Square Park (14th and Broadway). At 7:15, a silent procession will go down Broadway to encircle the World Trade Center site in a candlelight vigil. Flashlights must be used instead of candles. This is a silent vigil, not a political rally, so please: no signs.
