Not only is she a champion pianist, she also gathers like-minded musicians to project strong ideas about repertoire—in this case, classical, romantic, and modern German and Austrian. On November15, she plays Schubert, and members of the Brentano Quartet play Mozart and Schoenberg string trios. November 17 brings tenor Ian Bostridge and her to Schubert's Die schöne Müllerin and the Brentano Quartet to Berg's Lyric Suite. November 21 puts Webern and Berg instrumentals around Bostridge and Uchida in Schumann songs. The last concert finds Uchida facing Beethoven's final three sublime sonatas.
