After reading these responses, Chuck Connors must have made a thousand porn appearances, from 8mm to VHS to 3D. I remain skeptical. In fact, he shouldn't have been mentioned in the first place.

The rumor of Chuck Connors being gay has elicited a lot of homophobic response. I saw the pornographic film and the actor, who looked a lot like Connors, played a sailor on leave having sex with a marine. The actor performed strictly as a "top", penetrating with gusto and looking like he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Whether it was or wasn't Connors, the reasons used to refute it are bogus. That Connors was married three times, fathered children, or was a good Catholic alter boy are no proof that he didn't perform a homosexual act successfully. Many men, white and black, are on the "down low" even today, and in the 50's, 60's and 70's sexual experimentation was rampant. The governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, used to pose nude live for gay men for money to support his intensive, exercise and eating regime on his way to becoming Mr. Universe. (This was told me by men who paid him.)
I am really tired of the worn out Puritanism that over inflates the importance of sex in morality. What ever happened to the sin of greed and hypocracy? Isn't that the only sin that set Christ into a physical tirade? (The money exchangers at the temple who charged a fee, known as usery, for those unfamiliar with the New Testament.) I am deeply saddened by the number of competant and effective politicians whose carreers have been destroyed by sexual scandal. To me Bill and Hillary Clinton have a very admirable relationship. They are each other's best friend and I find that far more important in a relationship than anything of a sexual nature.

I remember working at the Sea Scout Base in Newport Beach, CA in 1974 and coming across a book among other odd things, an article of Chuck Connors in a gay film with a picture of him laying down on the bank of a river scene; he was naked! I am still a fan of the Rifeman T.V. show shown locally on RTV; Retro Television 47.4 Las Vegas, NV. While growing through my teen years, I also admired 'Fess Parker' as D. Boone because of the portrayall of the Law abiding and morally judgemental individuals who leaded their commuity or tribe toward prosperity and kept peace with for everyone to live without fear. The rumors about the Chuck Connors porn tape are true. Shortly before I divorced my husband in the early 80's I founda stack of porn movies and watched a few. One of them was about two men in a park, with Chuck Connors being the recipient of a doggy-style good time. I was shocked.

In the early 60's and into the mid 70's I operated an "adult book store", or what was frequently known as a Porno Shop and from time to time we would have videos available for the "peep show" booths that included a movie of Chuck Conners in a gay role. In my opinion, after seeing the movie dozens of times, scrutinizing it sometimes in frame stopping sequences, I must say, if that was not really Conners, it had to be his identical twin. It had his well known physique as well as the hair style and the facial expressions he was well known for. This movie was made efore his takeoff in commercial movies (not certain of the actual date at this point) and I must say I would swear it was ligitimate.
