Warning: At Mojo, you may "die dreaming"—in liquid form, that is. The delectable cocktails at this small neighborhood spot from the owners of the sexy tapas lounge Suba are the real draw here. The space's decor—brick walls, open kitchen, chalkboards—lends a minimalist vibe that doesn't detract from the conversation, food, or drinks on offer. The Morir Soñando (or "die dreaming"; $8) is a sweet combination of Bacardi Vanilla, triple sec, OJ, cream, and espresso powder that comes dressed in a martini glass, has a freckled facade, and tastes as yummy as a milk shake. The Blue Crush ($10), a blend of Bacardi O, Hpnotiq (our new favorite get-wasted liqueur), blue curaçao, a splash of lemon juice, and mango and passion fruit puree, packs a nice Hawaiian punch that'll catch anyone off guard. Paired with the crispy catfish sandwich ($12) or any of the other dishes on the menu, these drinks will have your mojo running on overdrive in no time.
