Pack your bags, you're going on a camping trip. Don't worry, you won't be spending it in the great outdoors, just that teensy weensy place known as APT. Start off with some post-disco jams at Donnie Blackoutzwith Metro Area's Darshan—who's hosting the disjointed funk of Common Factor on Thursday. Or you can get some swanky ear candy from Ursula 1000 at his weekly Undressed Party (Friday). Or you can play with both Citizen Kane and Danny Krivit (Saturday). And last but not least, the geeks at Other Music do us all a favor and unleash the fury of electro-techno goddess Ellen Allien (Tuesday). Get there early to snag a spot to shake it. APT, 419 W 13th, 212.414.4245

Colder—a Parisian graphic designer by day and smooth operator by night—plays his exclusive live show with a five-piece band for Flyer (the party magazine that fits in a pocket). The Frenchie is part Air, part Massive Attack, and a little bit Pepe Le Pew. He gets really breathy on Again, his debut disc for Trevor Jackson's imprint, Output Recordings. The Flyer folks, who are so old by now they remember when the cabaret law was not even a twinkle in the government's eye, are also hosting electro artists from Holland and Novamen, plus DJ Overdose and local boy wonders Tim Sweeney, James Fucking Friedman, and Alex English. Friday @ 9, Rothko, 116 Suffolk, rothkonyc.com

Here at Club Crawl headquarters, we never pass up an event where ladies will be twirling their titty tassels. Last year's first annual New York Burlesque Festival was such a hit that it's at an even bigger location on its main night. Plus, they've added an awards show and an outdoor game show. Burlesque faves include the Pontani Sisters (co-organizers of the event), Julie Atlas Muz, *BOB*, and host Murray Hill.
