Didn't know what genre designations to assign Eluvium and Tarentel, so I asked Scott Seward. I figured out the post-dub ones were anti-imperialist from early tracks called "There Is an Oil Tanker Named Condoleeza Rice" and "Oil Thug Chugdub," the latter of which helped confirm the post-dub part as well. All in all: insular but beautiful incoherence for an ugly time that just keeps getting scarier. And if Brian Wilson works better for you, I don't mind.
