Special Halloween and/or Devil's Night edition, as nearly all of the band names and titles will attest. Which is to say, a ready-made soundtrack for toilet-papering Bush-Cheney signs on swing-state suburban lawns, and for hoping November 2 winds up less scary than October 31. (Of particular note: I.C.E., a/k/a Imperial Crystalline Entombment, who have a guy named IceSickKill plus ditties called "Astral Frost Invocation," "Hypothermic Possession," "Glacial Lyckanthropic Horde," "Convulsing Frigid Death," and "Behold Thy Frozen Arctic Kingdom." Sadly, they do not also cover Yoko Ono's "Don't Worry Kyoko [Mummy's Only Looking for Her Hand in the Snow].")
