The late Katrin Cartlidge stars as the titular high-end Manhattan call girl seeking a new life in this 1998 film from the adventurous Lodge Kerrigan (Keane). Among the supplements: an audio introduction by critic Kent Jones and a booklet featuring an essay by Voice staffer Michael Atkinson.
Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (DreamWorks)
The Animated Feature category may be the strongest at this week's Oscars, featuring Japanese master Hayao Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle, Corpse Bride from the suddenly resurgent Tim Burton, and (the probable winner) this witty and humane stop-motion delight by Nick Park and Steve Box about a scatterbrained inventor and his brow-furrowing dog. The disc is loaded with special features, including deleted scenes with commentary and the short film Stagefright.
