Remote Patrol

Sons and Daughters
Tuesdays at 9 on ABC

Arrested Development may have died a long, drawn-out death, but we shouldn't be surprised to see a stream of post-Bluth sitcoms trying their luck where AD failed. Sons and Daughters, executive produced by SNL's Lorne Michaels, fits the bill: a loose, improvisational family comedy with no laugh track, neurotic-verging-on-irritating characters, and a clever (but hopefully not too clever for its own good) sense of humor.

Lil' Kim: Countdown to Lockdown
Thursdays at 9:30 on BET starting March 9

Most celebs use reality TV to rehabilitate their careers after long battles with drugs, jail, and/or failure to thrive (see Bobby Brown and Danny Bonaduce). Lil' Kim is nothing if not proactive: This six-week series shadowed Kim's every move as she prepared for the prison sentence she's now serving for perjury in connection with a 2001 shooting. What's up next for Kim: a jailhouse special on sexy style behind bars?
