In which Bucks County indie twerps, San Francisco hippies, and backwoods Michigan art-punks do their string-band best to keep up with Nickel Creek, while seemingly interchangeably glammy teenybop icons from around the globe invent aerobic dances, wish they were animals, lament their parents' divorces, and pay tribute to violent roller-skating. Also, though the song called "One Way or Another" on one of these albums is indeed a Blondie cover, the song called "Rapture" is not. Whether the latter literally concerns the Second Coming of Christ is for you to find out.
