In a city where a club's life span is a mere blink and a party's is even less, it's inspiring to see something last beyond the fickle trends. Night of a 1,000 Stevies, the tribute to all things Stevie Nicks, is now on its 16th year. This year's theme is "Stevie in Wonderland," a homage to her "Red Stevie" look introduced on The Other Side of the Mirror. Don your best lace dress, dance to Stevie hits spun by Craig Spencer and Poison Eve, and watch performances from an all-star lineup that includes Joey Arias, Hattie Hathaway, and Miss Guy, among many, many others. As always, Chi Chi Valenti, Johnny Dynell, and Hathaway produce.Fri @ 9, Knitting Factory Main Space, 74 Leonard, 212-219-3006, mothernyc.com/stevie

Stank is one of several forward-thinking music parties at Mr. Black, a gay bar that inhabits the space formerly known as Table 50. It seems the club's new incarnation is better suited to the cavernous underground spot. Tonight Scissor Sister's Ana Matronic MCs over Chicago house and jacked-up beats provided by the queen house bee herself, Honey Dijon. She's a delish combination of tough and sweet, taking Detroit's crisp sounds to Chicago's amped energy, and fusing it with the future of Berlin. With W. Jeremy, Christy Love, and Seth Kirby. It's almost summer, so it's time to break in the boat at the Frying Pan. Tim "Love" Lee is your funky captain, offering smooth sailing with deep house and breaky beats, representing with his Tummy Touch labelmate Soulstatic for the Turntables on the Hudson posse. The name of the party? Sounds Good In the Nude. Do with it what you will. Fri @ 10, Frying Pan, Pier 63, Chelsea Piers, 212-989-6363
