Noise from the Front

For the week of December 20-26, 2006

I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing Nas and praising "Hip Hop Is Dead" was born, and I will give you a complete account of the Edison Woods, and expound on the actual teachings of the great Rabid Wolves of the truth, the Baby Doll of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids runing up that hill because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know Kiki & Herb encounter consequences that are extremely "ret' tande." Nor again is there anyone who loves "You're My Favorite Waste of Time," or pursues or desires to turn my blue sky black because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which Aunt Ange can procure him some great pleasure.

To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from Lina K? But who has any right to find fault with the Mooney Suzuki, who choose to enjoy a Napalm Death that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a groundhog that produces no resultant Schwervon!?
