I do not agree with many of your comments and articles that I just read. America has been abused and assaulted by too many so-called patriotic individuals who think the enemy has the right to isolate and remove the head of a fellow American and say nothing about it. Ask yourself: Am I providing beneficial information or am I just like feeling good about what I can put on the Internet? You can believe me when I say that I would not miss your comments if they would disappear.
Because of an editing error, last week's cover story, 'No Skeletons in My Closet!', incorrectly stated that Verizon had turned over 94,000 records to the National Security Agency, "many without a court order." The 94,000 records were turned over to various state and federal law-enforcement agencies other than the NSA; Verizon declines to confirm or deny what it gave to the NSA. Verizon also concedes that in at least 720 "emergency" cases, it provided information to "federal authorities" without any court authorization.
