Ladies, if you want to experience the high drama, fashion, and MACd-out look that drag queens claim as their own, come to Victorias Faux Drag Pulp Fiction Party, which, according to founders Queens Marie and Cherelynore, is a party for faux queens . . . and the gay men trapped in our vaginas. (And when we say pulp fiction, we dont mean the movie, but the genrelook it up.) Before the FTF (female-to-female) show gets underway, be sure to get your front-row seat to the first-ever Victoria Film Fest, which features campy film shorts by gay filmmakers. Along with cabaret and burlesque acts by Erin Markey, JZ Bich, Harley Dear, and Shelly Mars, among others, there will be a runway contest, style stations to primp and pamper, and free shots to give the night a helluva lot more pulp.
