Art, fashion, music, and film collide in Clash of the Artists 2008—and with all those artists under one roof, it’s more like “Clash of the Egos.” (Scary!) For over three months, painters, designers, musicians, DJs, and filmmakers from around the world have been competing in their respective genres, and tonight you’ll not only have the chance to see the top three finalists in each category, but you’ll also get to vote for the overall winner. From Puerto Rican artist Juan C. Salgado’s praying Mary turned Skeletor to young filmmaker Michael Brettler’s dark comedy about a woman dealing with her worst fears, to British fashion designer Ricardo Ramos’s obsession with ruffles, the mix of creativity will definitely keep the night moving—and expect to do a little shaking yourself when the DJs bring on the jams till the wee hours of the morning.
