A stripper takes on God
There’s something to be said for the versatility of an actor who, fresh off the bus from the Sex Worker’s Art Show Tour, returns to New York to play God in her latest work. In Erin Markey and Friends, the performance artist debuts The Second Coming, in which the Lord gets pissed off when he finds his cheese has been moved into Barnes & Noble’s self-improvement section. Whether or not Markey’s trusty brass pole makes an appearance remains to be seen, but other sexy antics will no doubt spew forth from the special guests sharing the bill, who include fetish-porn star Lorelei Lee, jump-rope artist Karl Jones, and burlesque goddess the World Famous *BOB*.
