Cielo’s dance floor packs them in, but we’re not always put over the top by the party that ensues. Then again, the right DJ can take the place to epic heights, and Âme Frankis one of them. The DJ from Berlin, who also dabbles as a graphic designer, is returning to Cielo to spin deep house beats served especially electro. Âme, a fan of Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, and Jassanova, mixes his beats in the realm of synthesized robotic funk, with a side of modern disco. And, as usual, Willie Graff—straight from electro-dance Disneyland (i.e., Ibiza)—will be opening.
