Put on some good walking shoes for TOAST 2008 (Tribeca Open Artist Studio Tour), a self-guided expedition that’ll have you meandering around the historical neighborhood and meeting 100 artists in their studios. Look for beautiful window displays and slide-show exhibits that local venues are providing. And if you start feeling a bit famished, feel free to do some wining and dining at any of the nearby eateries. This 12th annual public soiree has been updated with an interactive website, so you can see who’s participating, preview the artists’ work, and download a map of the ’hood.
