SMALL SPACES, SHORT TIME

Creative claustrophobia in bursts

If the thought of small spaces makes you hyperventilate, this show isn’t for you. But then again, you’re not the one who’ll be performing on a six-foot-by-six-foot-by-six-foot stage. The Brick Theater and Ontological-Hysteric Incubator present the Tiny Theater Festival, featuring 10-minute slices of theater, dance, puppetry, and multimedia in a cozy setting that challenges creativity. At the Incubator, be sure to check out Gabe Maxson’s They Are Bad People, a conversation between Bill O’Reilly and Ann Coulter, configured by using their own delicious words from program transcripts in a more freely mishmashed sort of way. Also, look out for Sarah Nerboso’s 6x3=Safety, an exploration of five frenzied females whose fears overtake them and compel them to act pretty stupidly.
