The LGBT Pride Rally is the official kick-off to Pride, but if you’re gay, you were probably already celebrating in the wee hours of June 1. It’s true that Pride pretty much co-opts the entire month of June in New York, but for those who missed the boat on the multitude of fun gay excuses to get sauced over the past few weeks, this rainbow-colored pep-fest is the most comprehensive way to get yourself pumped for an intense upcoming week of festivities. The gay-power demo is hosted by the hilarious comedians Judy Gold and Bob Smith, and features an almost endless roster of cable-caliber talent, including the Gender Offenders—plus a few dark horses. And why not?
