The guys who successfully brought you the first-ever Films in Tompkins program last year are back with a bigger, even more colorful film selection that both cult-film lovers and families should dig. On every other Wednesday from now through September, the main green lawn in Tompkins Square Park will be lit up with entertainment—all you have to do is bring your own blanket and victuals. Tonight, let the Coen Brothers take you on a hilarious trip of mistaken identity and enterprising opportunity with “The Dude” in The Big Lebowski. Other films on the schedule include Batman Begins, Better Off Dead, The Graduate, Stand By Me, The Toy, and The Shining.
