The interest in the Latin POV has propelled Calixto Chinchillas New York International Latino Film Festival into its current position as the largest urban Latino film event in the nation. Now in its ninth year, the festival is showcasing more than 100 films (which this year include documentaries on Big Pun and Celia Cruz), and its also launching the Hola México Film Festival.
