We appreciate any play that celebrates the cleverness and charm of the journalist. The play, Beasley's Christmas Party, produced by the Keen Company, concerns a writer for the Wainwright Morning Dispatch who harbors suspicion about his next-door neighbors. All is apparently revealed at a Christmas Ever soiree. Director Carl Forsman hangs the holly wreaths and mistletoe.
Tuesdays, 7 p.m.; Wednesdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 3 p.m. Starts: Dec. 2. Continues through Jan. 3, 2008
