Dave Jay stars as all four Beatles
Yesterday, OK, a few months ago, we saw this sweetly strange performance at the Fringe Festival, titled johnpaulgeorgeringo, in which musician Dave Jay channels all four Beatles for an unscripted Q&A session. We noted that while Jay “responds to audience questions with a combination of cleverness and thorough research, he somewhat undercuts the event by promoting his own music—a pop varietal known as J'Blammo—and playing it.” Now the solo acts for an encore.
