WE ARE FAMILY

The Lewis siblings show off their talents

Sort of like the Partridge Family—but much cooler—Lewis Forever is a performance collective made up of four talented siblings: Brooklyn-based artists George Lewis Jr. and Isabel Lewis, and Berlin-based artists Ligia Manuela Lewis and Sarah Lewis. Their first evening-length work as a collective, Freak the Room, is a multidisciplinary mind-trip that explores issues like transnationalism, belonging, and emigration—subjects close to the heart of this transatlantic crew. In this piece, each Lewis member highlights his or her own individual talents to create a blend of rock music, artwork, installations, videos, and dance—in other words, Freak the Room should be exactly what the title implies.
Sundays, 6:30 p.m.; Wednesdays-Saturdays, 8:30 p.m. Starts: Nov. 30. Continues through Dec. 14, 2008
