We’ve never really believed in Santa—a Jewish upbringing does tend to discourage it—but we’ve always imagined him as a portly and avuncular figure. We expect to be disturbed then by Mark William Butler’s musical revue, which features such tradition-troubling acts as “reindeer girl group The Vixens, rockers Elfie and The Toymakers, and punkers Krummy Kringle and The Insanity Claus.”
