When the Clouds Roll By

(Victor Fleming, 1919). This was Doug Fairbanks's second production for the new United Artists Company, and for it, he promoted to director status his former cameraman, Fleming, who would go on to direct Gone With the Wind. An inventive satire that takes aim at the then new profession of psychoanalysis, it's notable for a wild surrealistic dream sequence.
