Antonio Estevan Huerta calls himself a "living, breathing, song-writing piece of luggage." His European tours usually last the better part of the year — they love him over there! — and before departing again, the New Yorker by way of Texas will do one more show with a 10-piece band. Huerta's debut album, Your Shrine, produced by Super Buddha (Rufus Wainwright, Scissor Sisters), is an exercise in the fine lines between rock, punk, soul, and folk. Huerta's bravura is in his odes to the beauty that Jeff Buckley and Maria McKee brought to the music-listening world. "Horses" is captivating.
