C.J. Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band

Clayton Joseph Chenier inherited his father's accordion and the Red Hot Louisiana Band when zydeco king Clifton Chenier passed away in 1987. Since then, C.J. has combined his youthful passion for funk with Clifton-penned Creole standards such as "Louisiana Two Step" and "You Used to Call Me." A good time is virtually guaranteed at Let's Zydeoco's Louisiana-style dance parties, which begin with a dance workshop at 6 p.m.
Sun., Feb. 15, 7 p.m., 2009
