Although you won’t find Anna Wintour in the front row at the Williamsburg Fashion Weekend, you can bet top designers are taking a good look at the inventive styles of the Bedford Avenue set. Catch the trends of the future during this two-day event, in which eight designers from the epicenter of hip show their new collections. The first night features Trisha McBride, Nettie Tiso/Racecar! Apparel, Mandate of Heaven, and Papusza Couture, with after-party music provided by Begushkin, Services, That Handsome Devil, and Trilateral Commission. Day two is King Gurvy, SDN, and a combined show with Treehouse Brooklyn’s house designer Sirius* and Sodafine’s Erin Weckerle; Tall Firs and Celebration rock the after-party. As for what to wear, the organizers say, “Inspire us!” We’ll leave it up to you to interpret that.
