Darrell Dennis is an inadequate Indian. At the top of the show the character announces, “I have never heard the owl call my name. . . . I can't even make it rain, for God's sake." But writer-performer Dennis nevertheless charges ahead with his semi-autobiographical, comic tale of a young man finding himself on the rez and in Vancouver.
