ENDGAME

Tonight, we're gonna party like it's 1929

Now that depressions are all the rage, relive the last one at Wit's End, a monthly '20s- and '30s-inspired soiree that kicks off tonight. Marion's, the charmingly old-fashioned Bowery bar, will play host to ladies and gents swathed in vintage cocktail attire and jackets and ties (the dress code is strictly enforced), Lindy Hopping to authentic Jazz Age tunes—both recorded and performed live by quirky ensemble Grandpa Musselman & His Syncopators. Shien Lee, the producer of the elaborate vintage parties Dances of Vice, lends her vocal prowess to the evening. Now, if only the drinks would be at Depression-era prices.
