NYC psychonauts Psychic Ills have been laying low for awhile—and by the sounds of their grand new full-length, Mirror Eye, it sounds like they've been away doing some traveling. "Astral traveling," that is, freely dropping in on whatever ancient/future tribal jam/love-in they could happen upon. The tunes keep stay groovy and stoney, slowly meandering through always engaging soundscapes. With Excepter.
