What a toxic waste it might have been had no one thought to author a theatrical adaptation of this 1984 flick, which concerns a weakling transformed into a muscled green hero who gives baddies and Geiger counters conniptions. Thank goodness Joe Pietro and David Bryan have created a musical version of the classic Troma film.
