Well, it's not like we want to picture the Disney crew having sex or any of our favorite childhood cartoon characters, for that matter but sometimes animators have, er, vivid imaginations that go beyond illustrations of rainbows and ponies. Tonight's program, Sex, Animated, features sex that, well, could only happen with illustrated characters. See a dozen short films, including the catchy-titled Teat Beat of Sex(Signe Baumane), Sex & Violence (Bill Plympton), and Roof Sex (PES). After the screening, Baumane moderates the panel discussion with Academy Award nominee Plympton and commercial animator PES, among others.
