Blond and indifferently muscled, Zachary Oberzan does not particularly resemble Sylvester Stallone. Nor does a cramped black-box theater much recall the forests of Washington State. But the Nature Theater of Oklahoma, who had a hit with No Dice, the peanut-butter-and-jelly-fueled four-hour extravaganza about nothing much, has returned to Soho Rep with Rambo Solo, a solo show based on the 1982 film First Blood. Oberzan is apparently obsessed with the flick and sweatily recounts every famously violent scene in this story of a troubled Green Beret and the small-town cops who menace him.
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, 7:30 p.m.; Fri., March 20, 7:30 p.m. Starts: March 19. Continues through April 12, 2009
