The Chap

Named after a British periodical dedicated to ironically mustached dandyism, The Chap is a four-piece electropop group that might well be the shiny bastard spawn of Scritti Politti and Pet Shop Boys. Their main stock in trade is hilarious mockery of the music business, which they savage with fractured lyrics. As they sing in "Emerson Lake and Palmer," "Modernization is what we're about/Without warning you'll suddenly run out and cry/Goodbye." With Deastro and Mux Mool.
