The Collector

(Eric Rohmer, 1967). Set in the idle ambiance of St. Tropez, this was Rohmer's first film in color and also marked the first of the director's many feature collaborations with the great Catalan cinematographer Nestor Almendros. The collector of the title is nymphette Haydee Politoff who makes a principle of sleeping with a different boy every night. All of the films in the program were edited by Jackie Raynal.
