Sure, you could have headed to London to protest the G-20 meetings, but you can easily make yourself be seen and heard right here at home. The 3rd Annual Anarchist Book Fairisn't merely a gathering of literature vendors, but is two days in which the anarchist community unites to bring forth new ideas and practices through various outlets. The fair includes panels, presentations, and workshops, along with an art exhibition and film festival. Short films and full-length features—primarily focused on exposing stories of local resistance, tyranny, oppression, and exploitation—will be shown at various venues and will include a special screening of footage captured by Brad Will, an anarchist and journalist killed in 2006 while filming the people's uprising in Oaxaca, Mexico.
April 11-12, 11 a.m., 2009
