Faster than a dive-bombing Superman clichè, more powerful than Slumdog Millionaire, and able to scale lofty political theses in a single belch, it's. . . still Napalm Death. Sure, Birmingham, England's finest extreme-metal ensemble hasn't changed too much sonically since inventing grindcore on their 1987 debut, Scum—other than the 14 other musicians who have passed through their ranks—but frontman Barney Greenway's snarky between-song banter ("You gotta watch for it," he said last year after the band played the one-second "You Suffer") and the group's caffeinated rhythm section still make for an entertaining gig.
