Flying Lotus's Los Angeles was one of last year's most heralded electronica albums, yoking fuzzy, atmospheric hip-hop to Warp-style IDM. Now he's rounded up a plethora of talent for a uniquely bass-heavy night. Kode 9 leads the Hyperdub label, putting out his own (and Burial's) dark, urban, sci-fi influenced dubstep. Former junglist Martyn is suddenly at the forefront of Dutch dubstep, while Zomby has filtered hardcore rave through that genre, grime and funky to create the magnificently goofy Where Were U in '92?
