Young Love
New York's Young Love aim to pick up where Bloc Party left off with bass-drenched synth rock that make 15-year-olds think they have good taste. It's not all bad though, as frontman/producer Dan Keyes's quavering baritone and summer love lyrics border on progressive Fall Out Boy territory when accompanied by a perpetual booty-shaking beat. (As if you could even bend your knees in girl's jeans.) With a three-week residency at Webster Hall's Studio premiering tracks from the upcoming LP One Of Us, let's see if Young Love is built to last. With Jump Into the Gospel.
