All sorts of works for the sliding brass instrument have been put into play during this month-long fest at the new Gowanus art space. The final installment features Jacob Garchik, who’s as strong at bent abstractions as he is scripted calibrations, playing with a trio. Sharing the bill is Curtis Hasselbring’s Decoupage, a foursome that features guitarist Mary Halvorson and vibraphonist Matt Moran and walks on the subtle side, save for some “inner turmoil” that the leader wafts through his tunes.
